A little snip here; a small tuck there and the backyard, we thought, could be "fine."
Perhaps that's the operative word. "Fine" wasn't a word that said "happy" and "awesome" or "forever" to us.
The plans grew: A vegetable garden. Privacy. More useable space. Sun AND shade. Pretty. Low maintenance. A spot for our bikes.
Suddenly, it was a big production. Five designs later, we had something better than "fine."
